Our Story

Chili Willi’s is an elevated Tex-Mex grill bringing a beloved favorite back to life. Originally founded in Huntington, West Virginia in 1983, Chili Willi’s built a loyal following for its authentic flavors and lively atmosphere before closing in 2011. Now reimagined in Cornelius, NC by the team behind Duckworth’s Grill & Taphouse, The Cellar and Link & Pin, it blends tradition with a fresh, modern feel. Guests can enjoy scratch-made Tex-Mex favorites like sizzling fajitas, enchiladas, and delicious chilis alongside bold, protein-focused dishes and wood-grilled specialties. A vibrant bar features craft scratch-made margaritas, cocktails and a curated selection of tequilas and mezcals, creating a welcoming space to gather and connect.
